Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Global Supply Chain Associate Project Management/Global Supply Chain Project Management. This position is located on-site in Rancho Bernardo, CA.
In this role you will primarily support the Aerospace Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance & Testing (AISR&T) portfolio. You will oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between GSC and planning, scheduling, engineering, program, and business management teams. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with Program, Business, and Supply Chain teams. The main focus will be on supporting execution activities associated with the RQ-4 portfolio, including but not limited to the Range Hawk and NATO programs.
Key Responsibilities:

Tracking and managing data associated with GSC program execution – parts requirements, purchase order placements, fulfillment, deliveries and receipt.

Create PowerPoint presentations detailing program status, risks & opportunities, recommendations, and resolutions.

Focal point for program actions.
-
Support GSC functional integration meetings to satisfy program execution expectations.
-
Support Contract Closeout activities across various programs.

Travel to supplier and/or customer facilities to support program reviews.
This opening may be hired at either the Level 1 or Level 2 role depending upon the candidates experience & qualifications.
Basic Qualifications (Associate Project Management):

Bachelors degree with 0 years of experience or 4 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.

Experience developing tools, spreadsheets, and/or mechanisms to track project progress.

Experience providing business analysis on historical data, project actions, and activities.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Experience operating Microsoft Office Suite - Project, PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
Basic Qualifications (Project Management):

Bachelors degree with 3 years of related experience, Masters degree with 1 year of related experience or 7 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.

Experience developing tools, spreadsheets, and/or mechanisms to track project progress.

Proficient in Operations Business Systems (SAP or Oracle preferred)

Experience providing business analysis on historical data, project actions, and activities.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Experience briefing leadership with program metrics.

Intermediate to expert in operating Microsoft Office Suite - Project, PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
Preferred Qualifications (Associate Project Management / Project Management):

Experience with SAP business and purchase order transactions.

Experience managing projects budgets.

Experience developing Business Intelligence Tools, such as Power BI or Tableau.

Experience with pulling and presenting comprehensive data analyses
Salary Range: $58,000 USD - $87,000 USD
Salary Range 2: $70,200 USD - $105,200 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
