Associate - Salesperson

The primary role is to cover our clients within the foreign exchange product domain. Executing and advising our clients on the markets and strategizing execution.

Corporate Risk & Treasury Management is responsible for the execution of transactions in the Risk Management area: currency, interest rate, and commodity derivatives. The team’s goal is to provide solutions and execute over the counter derivatives with corporate clients, within risk parameters set by Rabobank and for the appointed area, in order to maximize revenue and help our clients mitigate risk.

  • Responsible for assisting coverage of North American clients for the desk

  • Execution of FX and interest rate transactions with our clients

  • A high level of professional knowledge on hedging alternatives for our client base

  • Working closely together with Relationship managers, Senior CRTM marketers, and DCM in the coverage of the client base

The Markets department – part of WRR Global Wholesale Product Clients (GWPC) – offers:

  • Risk Management products offered by our Sales and Trading teams; such as interest rate derivatives, Foreign Exchange derivatives and Commodity derivatives;

  • As part of Markets, the CRTM team is the Sales division that serves Corporate Clients in Markets North America Wholesale. Products are executed through the Trading desk.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Effectively communicate both verbally and written in a clear manner to manager, internal and external customers.

  • Assist clients and senior sales people to drive day-to-day excellence, ongoing improvements initiatives and foster an environment of teamwork and professional growth.

  • Ability to resolve complex operational problems & customer services issues make decisions using sound judgement, negotiating skills & exercising authority and/or refer to Manager.

  • Capability to work well with manager and members in the department and with members of other departments in order to administrate customer transactions accurately and efficiently.

  • Capacity to multi-task and cross process within other departments. Ability to manage one’s time effectively.

  • Working closely together with Relationship managers, Senior CRTM marketers, and DCM in the coverage of the client base.

Your Promise to Us

To be considered for the Associate – Salesperson role, you must have;

  • Ability to communicate fluently in Spanish

  • BA/BS degree

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)

  • Intimate familiarity with global markets, structured products, derivatives, accounting, regulations.

  • Minimum of 5+ years in experience in interest rate, foreign exchange products

  • A high level of professional knowledge on hedging FX and interest rate alternatives

  • Multi-asset and cross-product risk mitigating skills

  • Bloomberg Certification

Salary Expectations:

Target Hiring Range: $115,000.00 - $185,000.00

This position is subject to the terms of [RAF/Rabobank/RDS]’s compensation plans and policies. It is anticipated that the position will pay within the target hiring range. The range is reflective of the desired primary physical work location and may be adjusted outside of the projected range based on geographical differentiation if the actual work location of the hired candidate differs from the desired primary location, or for other lawful reasons. Further, all full-time regular position includes all other benefits provided to [RAF/Rabobank/RDS] employees, including healthcare benefits, 401k matching, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, possible discretionary bonuses and all other benefits that are all governed by and subject to ERISA plan documents and eligibility.
