Managing, challenging, monitoring and reporting on our strategy: growth in Wholesale by using F&A knowledge & our global network to originate events, to convert prospects to clients, and to collaborate across product lines in the region and with other regions in the global network.
Monitoring Wholesale financial performance and portfolio management on a monthly basis and in terms of annual and strategic goals and challenging senior members of the management team.
Building strong partnerships with local and global senior leaders within the business and with key stakeholders in support functions.
Collaborating with the business to ensure compliance in all risk, compliance, legal and regulatory framework of Rabobank so we maintain license to operate.
Job Responsibilities:
Implement the Wholesale Banking North America strategy, prepare business presentations and strategy status write-ups to global and local Management teams as strategy evolves
Evaluate key performance information and provide analysis by client, sector, location etc. to support business decisions
Support the annual budgeting and strategic MTP process for WBNA; assist in supporting Relationship Managers in account planning and estimating annual revenue/franchise budget; work with various departments to prepare the annual expense budget; provide regular revised forecasts; face off with senior members within Finance and global lines on financial targets
Support the business lines in any internal/external audit or local/global regulatory exam
Actively monitor financial performance vs. budget on a monthly basis; works with Finance and Control and Relationship Managers to resolve any income or expense discrepancies
Actively monitor deal workflow/pipeline and maintains up to date pipeline reports for business lines
Your Promise to Us
To be considered for the VP, Business and Strategy Manager role, you must have;
Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
Finance and accounting background.
Global financial services industry experience preferred.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task..
Knowledge of accounting and budget tracking..
Strong, experience based knowledge of banking and finance sector, and the commercial and corporate governance.
Fundamental knowledge of the principles of strategy and business planning.
Quantitative research skills including financial analysis, valuation and forecasting.
Able to create persuasive reports and presentations for senior executives.
Understanding of change management principles and experience in facilitating organizational change.
Ability to manage, motivate and deliver results from various teams within Wholesale Banking.

Salary Expectations:
Target Hiring Range: $140,000.00 - $230,000.00
This position is subject to the terms of [RAF/Rabobank/RDS]’s compensation plans and policies. It is anticipated that the position will pay within the target hiring range. The range is reflective of the desired primary physical work location and may be adjusted outside of the projected range based on geographical differentiation if the actual work location of the hired candidate differs from the desired primary location, or for other lawful reasons. Further, all full-time regular position includes all other benefits provided to [RAF/Rabobank/RDS] employees, including healthcare benefits, 401k matching, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, possible discretionary bonuses and all other benefits that are all governed by and subject to ERISA plan documents and eligibility.
