The Red Hat Global Support Services team is looking for an Associate Technical Support Engineer to join us in the Philippines. In this role, you will serve as an expert on Red Hat technologies, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and our storage and cloud solutions, and provide technical support primarily via phone and email. You'll perform basic investigation and troubleshooting to resolve difficult customer issues.
What you will do:
Provide exceptional technical support to Red Hat enterprise customers
Investigate problems and customer issues, and find and develop solutions
Consult with in-house engineers and developers to promote creative solutions and improve customer satisfaction
Contribute to the global Red Hat knowledge management system
Work with our enterprise customers across the globe on a 24/7 basis
Exceed customer expectations by providing outstanding customer service
What you will bring:
1+ years of experience with Linux for the enterprise sector
Thorough knowledge of Linux kernel, networking, and memory management
Excellent troubleshooting skills; passion for problem solving and investigation
Knowledge of the container ecosystem, e.g., Kubernetes or Red Hat OpenShift
Knowledge with storage technologies, distributed systems, or infrastructure maintenance
Ability to work with conflicting priorities, take initiative, and maintain focus on customers
Ability to handle multiple priorities and work under pressure
