Summary: Turtle Beach is seeking an Associate Test & Electrical Engineer to become an integral part of our audio headset engineering team in California. The selected candidate will work with our experienced engineering staff in the development of our gaming headsets. Work will include product testing, product design, product improvement, and following/improving/establishing product test plans. The work will be highly collaborative with hardware engineers, firmware engineers, and product test groups. • Verification of electrical and acoustic design of industry-leading innovative products
• Follow/improve / or establish validation test plans and test procedures
• Create and maintain a complete testing checklist for product validation
• Responsible for creating/updating validation test documentation
• Follow/improve / or establish production test plans and test procedures
• Analyze Production test data and create production test limits
• Provide manufacturing partners with tested golden samples with accompanying data for test fixture validation
• Collaborate with Product Marketing, Product Development, Operations, manufacturing partners, and product test groups on validation tests and test results
• Perform competitive analysis testing and maintain test documentation
• Maintain and update schematic, BOM, and PCBA files
• Provide exact specifications for individual product parts along with identifying proper sources and to manage them with the in-house Altium CAD library
• Create a proof of concept and early product design files
• Perform proof of concept testing on proposed electrical and acoustic designs
• Perform engineering analysis; conduct testing and data analysis on a variety of problems to ensure product functionality and reliability
• Initiates problem-solving using creative and innovative design and process approaches
• Performs work independently. Recognizes when it is necessary to ask for direction from senior-level engineering colleagues

• Must have Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent + experience
• 4 years of relevant engineering experience is preferred.
• Must have experience with audio test environments such as Audio Precision, dScope, Soundcheck, LMS, MLSSA, or other
• Must have strong experience in using Electrical test equipment such as Oscilloscopes, data loggers, meters, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers
• Experience with Altium or other electronic CAD software
• Self-directed, creative, able to learn quickly, and enjoys working in a fast-paced consumer products environment
