Hardware Lab Manager

Astera Labs is looking for a Hardware Engineering Lab Manager to support the Hardware Engineering team in Santa Clara, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience in working with complex electronics design and test instruments.

Skills

Experience in working with complex electronics design and test instruments
Ability to interpret schematics and layouts
Experience in rework and assembly of complex PCBA prototypes
Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
Excellent communication and documentation skills

Responsibilities

Support electronic laboratory operation
Execute intricate electronic soldering and rework on complex PCBA prototype
Oversee the lifecycle of prototypes, ensuring efficient management and tracking
Perform electrical measurements as part of design validation process
Work closely with the engineering team to run tests and resolve complex technical challenges

Education

BS/MS degree in electronics or similar field
Prior technical lab experience
