Vice President of Quality Assurance

Astera Labs is seeking a Vice President of Quality Assurance to lead the quality organization in providing exceptional product performance, reliability, consistency, and quality for complex devices.

Skills

Deep experience with PCBA quality and high-speed chips
Exceptional communication skills for internal and external parties
Knowledge of Quality Management Systems, certifications, and ISO compliance
Ability to generate robust documentation and manage customers

Responsibilities

Lead the quality organization in customer quality management, supplier quality, new product development, and regulatory compliance
Handle high-level customer quality escalations with Tier-1 OEMs, hyperscalers, and CSPs for PCIe/CXL/Memory technologies
Qualify PCIe/CXL/high-speed systems for data centers
Recruit, manage, and build a team of customer-facing quality engineers
Ensure compliance with environmental requirements and standards

Education

Degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
