Job Title: AccountantJob Description• Provide administrative support to the management team, including preparation of financial reports and documents, bi-weekly payroll, and general invoicing. • Assist with financial statement preparation, including balance sheet and general ledger reconciliation. • Perform bank reconciliations and ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and posted to the general ledger. • Keep accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions, accounts, and accounts payable and accounts receivable. • Assist with the preparation of financial statements, including the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement. • Provide technical accounting support to ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements. • Utilize accounting software to manage financial data and prepare financial reports. • Ensure that all financial transactions are properly authorized and documented. • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data and compliance with organizational policies and procedures.Hard Skills• Accounting• General Ledger• Financial ReportingJob TypeThis is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in North Mankato, Minnesota.Work EnvironmentIn office 5 days a week, company of 25 people total. Is going to be the only person in Accounting and will be responsible for the bookkeeping of the organization and payroll eventually (not right away). Reporting to the owner at first but eventually reporting to the Director of Design. Will be working directly with PMs, wants to get them involved more to know what their consultants are billing.
