APPLY NOW FOR IMMEDIATE CONSIDERATIONJob Description:• New York, NY• Onsite: Mon-Fri• 6-Month Contract Position• Full time- 40hrs a week• Compensation: $20-25 a/hr• Software: Excel, Microsoft Office,, Google Suite• Start date: ASAPDescription:Our client has an objective to reduce hunger and food insecurity through an array of programs that function to establish long-term independence for those they serve. They are seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide clerical support to upper level management and executives. We are seeking to have this person start ASAP as this is a great opportunity for those seeking continuing their administrative career.Responsibilities:• Administrative and clerical support to support sr. leadership team (Executive Director, Deputy Executive Director, Sr. Director of Finance, and Sr. Director of Development and Communication).• Calendar management and maintenance and travel arrangements for the Executive Director and Deputy Executive Director.• Communicate with board members, external vendors, and outside stakeholders via email and/or phone.• Expense reporting and other special projects for the Executive Director.• Support in arranging drinks, food, and utensils for staff events.• Operate office equipment, such as photocopiers, voicemail systems, and other machinery.• Work closely with the Operations Office Manager to ensure smooth operations in the office.• Maintain inventory of office supplies and order the supplies as needed through the Office Manager.• Answer phones and greet clients, assist in document filing, perform basic bookkeeping, organize financial records, route telephone calls, organize office activities, and mail correspondence.• Sort and distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mailQualifications:• 1+ years of administrative experience• Calendar Management• Customer Service skills• Administrative Support• Organization Skills• Attention to detail• Strong written and verbal communication skills.About Aston Carter:Aston Carter provides world-class corporate talent solutions to thousands of clients across the globe.
