Senior Tax AccountantAston Carter is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join a fast-growing, industry leader, in West Palm Beach.Job Description• Prepare and review complex federal and state corporate tax returns• Prepare and review ASC 740 provision, deferred analysis, and related footnote disclosures• Assist in the preparation and review of the state of quarterly tax journal entries and account reconciliations• Evaluate tax assessments and exemptions• Assist with tax authority notices and/or audits as needed• Assists in the completion of relevant domestic tax filing obligations, filings related to government-required tax accounting disclosures• Assists in the gathering of data necessary for audits by governmental tax units, data used in the tax compliance process• Performs general research on tax issues• Utilize Microsoft Excel, Corptax, ProSystems, Axcess, and SAP softwareQualifications• 5+ Years of Experience in Federal Corporate Tax Return Filing• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or similar field• Corptax software and SAP experience preferred• Strong Excel Skills• Proficient in filing C-corp tax, state return compliance, and tax research.• CPA PreferredWork EnvironmentHybrid opportunity. 2 days from home with more flexibility as you become more tenured.
