Seeking a detail-oriented Cost Accountant to apply principles of cost accounting to conduct studies and provide in-depth cost analysis to set manufacturing standards and report performance. Responsibilities include supporting cost and management accounting tasks such as percentage completion calculations, project accounting, financial reporting and analysis, and month-end financial closing. The role involves managing annual standards, statistical cost rolls, standard cost setting for new parts, analyzing purchase price variances, auditing cycle count activities, and assisting in inventory reporting for executive management. The position also includes monthly closing activities, development of cost accounting procedures, and ensuring system integrity in Oracle for accurate general ledger and cost accounting data.
Hard Skills
• 5+ years in cost accounting
• Oracle and Oracle Project Management experience
• Knowledge of percentage completion, WIP, and bill of materials
Soft Skills
• Investigative mindset
• Ability to handle high-stress environments
• Self-starter with capability to prioritize tasks
Job Type
• This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
