Job Title: Inside Sales RepresentativeJob DescriptionINVENTEC USA provides a convenient, one-stop-shopping solution for performance chemicals for high-tech industries. For over 40 years, the company has been serving industrial markets with sustainable products and processes that reduce the total cost of ownership.This is a six-month contract-to-hire position, Monday-Friday, 1st shift with 1 remote day per week. The company has 150 employees, with 17 based in Deep River, CT. The sales team consists of 3 members. This role involves 30% travel, both in-state and globally, with travel expenses reimbursed. This position does not include commissions but offers bonuses.As an Inside Sales Representative, you will generate revenue by soliciting and obtaining orders, understanding and interpreting technical requirements, providing technical information, and developing accounts. You will assess competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends, identifying sales opportunities. You will develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts, soliciting new accounts, building rapport, providing technical information and explanations, and preparing quotations. You will close new accounts by answering telephone, fax, and email inquiries and verifying and entering information. Additionally, you will fill orders by transferring orders to fulfillment, communicating expected delivery dates, and explaining stock-outs. Developing accounts by checking customer’s buying history, suggesting related and new items, and explaining technical features will also be part of your responsibilities. You will maintain communication equipment by troubleshooting, reporting, and tracking problems. Maintaining and improving quality results by following standards and recommending improved policies and procedures will be essential. Updating job knowledge by studying new product descriptions and participating in educational opportunities will help you accomplish department and organization goals. Exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments and attending 8-10 trade shows per year are also key parts of this role.Hard Skills• Sales: Inside or Outside• Engineering or Electronics Industry experience• Chemical Manufacturing experience• Willingness to travel 30%Daily Activities• Set sales objectives in alignment with• company strategy, both domestically and internationally.• • Plan and organize sales activities in• conjunction with relevant departments, optimizing resources.• • Conduct thorough market analysis to adapt• strategies to changing market dynamics, particularly in the electronic• assembly (surface mount) and semiconductor• industries.• Coordinate sales and marketing activities• to maximize product/service visibility and effectiveness.• Identify and pursue new business• opportunities through networking and• market research.• Manage approximately 100 clients, major• accounts, and distributor networks, optimizing strategies for growth.• Participate in strategic meetings with• customers and suppliers to promote products effectively, including direct• meetings with customers and managing both• internal and external client processes.• Support and motivate sales team members to• achieve objectives and provide periodic guidance.• Actively participate in SMTA for networking• and manage technical sales roles involving solution propositions, focusing• on soldering solutions and support.• Use Salesforce CRM for sales forecasts and• manage communication with technical support for product• qualification.• Participate in salons and shows,• potentially preparing for these events.Job TypeThis is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Deep River, Connecticut.Work EnvironmentOffice SettingAbout Aston Carter:Aston Carter provides world-class corporate talent solutions to thousands of clients across the globe.
