Payroll SpecialistPermanent direct placement role!Job DescriptionWe are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will process bi-weekly payroll, review timecards for accuracy, and confirm employees have adequate PTO or other paid time off balances. You will prepare and distribute payroll reports, assist with resolving payroll discrepancies, and confirm hours and department codes for staffing company invoices. Additionally, you will calculate and issue final wages for terminated employees, process 401(k) contribution changes, and reconcile insurance carrier benefit invoices. You will input new hire information and employee status changes in the HRIS/payroll system, prepare manual paychecks as needed, and address payroll-related queries and requests from employees.
