Job Title: Sr Accounts Payable Specialist

Under the supervision of the Corporate Controller, the Sr Accounts Payable Specialist ensures efficiencies within the AP function and provides guidance and direction to AP Specialists. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate and timely payment processes, conducting analysis to troubleshoot vendor and invoice issues, and leading process improvements. Responsibilities include overseeing AP duties, managing various payment processes, maintaining vendor relationships, conducting analysis and investigations, handling month-end and year-end close documents, annual 1099 reporting, maintaining AP files for audits, and ensuring adherence to accounting processes and company policies.
Hard Skills
• 3+ years in AP
• High volume invoice processing (100 per day)
• Experience with payment process for all vendors including check runs, ACHs, federal wires and payments by P-Card
• Excel proficiency

Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Centennial, Colorado and some days remote.
Work Environment
Hybrid: 3 days in office, 2 days remote. Training will be fully onsite. Total of 5 on the accounting team, reporting to the Accounting Manager. Manufacturing environment but office is separate area and very clean/nice.
