Supports and implements one or more of the following activities under the direction of higher level managers: Interfacing with and responding to Federal and State Regulatory Commissions (Federal Communications Commission and State Public Utility Commissions).
Researches and compiles information obtained through regulatory contacts. Analyzes and interprets complex data supporting regulatory filings, comments, and testimony. Monitors regulatory proceedings and complaint pleadings and responds to requests for information through complaint and audit proceedings, filings, complaint response, docket management, and discovery coordination.
Prepares filing comments, reply comments, waivers, and testimony. Supports regulatory interactions with Federal/State regulatory commissions including re-pricing existing products/services and tariffing new ones.
Analyzes industry information regarding regulatory factors. Compliance to include conditions tracking, performance measurement, and analysis as well as merger compliance analysis and reporting. May be required to testify before the regulatory commission.
Reports to second or third level management.
