Athlete to Athlete is a fast-growing, venture-backed start-up based in Los Angeles that offers Athletic Mentorship and Coaching Programs for youth athletes. In our programs, student-athletes are paired with a current Division 1 College-Athlete Mentor who plays their sport and can help build their confidence, taking their game to the next level. About the Job

We are seeking a talented Web Developer to join our team. As a Web Developer at Athlete To Athlete, you will play a key role in enhancing our digital presence, improving user experiences, and integrating backend functionalities with our Sales and Platform databases. This is an on-site position based in Los Angeles. 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience as a Web Developer or similar role, preferably in a startup environment.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (including ES6+), and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.
• Strong understanding of server-side languages such as Node.js, Next.js, Python, or Ruby, and related frameworks like Express, Django, or Ruby on Rails.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and integrating third-party services.
• Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and contribute effectively to team goals.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Collaborate with designers and product managers to implement UI/UX designs into responsive web applications.
• Develop and maintain front-end and back-end features for Athlete To Athlete's website and landing pages.
• Implement secure and scalable integrations between web applications and Sales/Platform databases.
• Ensure compatibility across browsers and optimize web application performance.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and issue troubleshooting.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions for continuous improvement.

• Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) and serverless architectures.
• Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and wireframing tools.
• Previous involvement with sports, fitness, or community-driven platforms.
