Your Role:
The Solutions Architect proactively and holistically leads and supports all technology architecture activities that guide the development and management of solutions that support Attindas’ payer clients. Solutions include projects, products, systems (including applications, technologies, processes, and information), shared infrastructure services and shared application services and components to enable and drive targeted business outcomes. The Solutions Architect will have a deep understanding of business goals, objectives and business outcomes, business capabilities, value-streams, and business processes. The solution architect provides the necessary leadership and performs analysis/design tasks to support the development of technology solutions. This person will have an overall responsibility to ensure that solutions meet business needs and align with architectural governance and standards. He or she creates deliverables for managing the organization's portfolio of target-state, interim and current-state solutions.
The Solutions Architect works with the Associate IT Director to research to propose and implement technological solutions to meet business needs. This includes the configuring, coding, developing, and documenting software specifications throughout the project life cycle. Additionally, support for and troubleshooting of the company’s existing software will occasionally be required.
Key responsibilities:

- Working closely with the IT Director, payer strategy and product teams to clearly understand business objectives, solution(s) requirements, solution workflows, and user journeys.
- Leading the design and development of the architecture that supports the company’s solutions for the healthcare payers segment.
- Creates architectural designs to guide and contextualize solution development across products, services, projects and systems.
- Performing thorough assessment of existing technologies, including partnerships with 3rd party vendors, to establish optimal technology strategy.
- Scan and assess the market and perform diligence on potential technology partners who can help fast-track solution(s) development and launch, and create efficiencies.
- Work closely with software engineers to create and maintain software release schedule and align organization through communication and training
- Remain abreast of technology trends in the healthcare benefits management space specifically in areas of interoperability, electronic medical record (EMR) systems, revenue cycle management, CRM, and e-commerce solutions.
- Ensuring solution(s) design alignment by working closely with internal stakeholders, including global information technology, software development, strategy and product, Operations, Communications, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain Management.
- Maintain a working knowledge of HDIS infrastructure and systems.
Required Qualifications/Professional Experiences
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information-technology, engineering, system analysis or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of seven years of experience across IT solution development disciplines, including application development, middleware, database management and cloud development.
- Experience with cloud-based infrastructure architectures and design patterns.
- Experience with cloud-native application development and deployment in Azure, AWS or Google Cloud.
- Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies, platforms, and processing environments.
- Good understanding of strategic and new and emerging technology trends, and the practical application of existing, new, and emerging technologies to new and evolving business and operating models.
- Good understanding of product management, agile principles and development methodologies and capability of supporting agile teams by providing advice and guidance on opportunities, impact, and risks, taking into account technical and architectural debt.
- Experience with creating user journey maps and architectural workflows
- Experience working in the Healthcare industry designing solutions that support interoperability between disparate systems
- Exposure to systems and solutions that support HDME benefits and delivery
- Experience developing architecture blueprints, strategies, and roadmaps.
- 10+ years’ experience as a software developer
- 5+ years’ experience working with .Net
- REST API, Json development experience
- Experience in integrating/interfacing systems.
- Reasonable familiarity in related areas including networking, security, hardware, etc.
Preferred Qualifications/Professional Experiences/Years of Experience:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or related
- Experience and willingness to learn AI related Healthcare technology solutions
- Experience with suppliers and distributors in the HDME space such as Cardinal Health, McKesson, or Medline
- Enjoys hands-on execution and strategic thought leadership
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills at all levels of organization and customers, including the ability to distill complex concepts for a non-technical audience
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively with strategy, product, healthcare professionals, and executives.
- .net Core familiarity / experience
- Oracle and Oracle PLSQL development experience
- SOAP experience
- ASP.NET experience
- Experience working with 3rd party UI Libraries
- Familiarity with business operations, including customer service, warehouse management, shipping and logistics, accounting, etc., with experience in developing software for these areas.
- Experience in other IT functions including networking, security, web systems, hardware maintenance and operating systems.
