Founding Product Designer (UX/UI)

Aurora (currently in Stealth) is a next generation digital lifestyle product harnessing AI for the trillion dollar luxury lifestyle space.We are on a mission to empower the next generation of ambitious individuals to effortlessly optimize their time, access, experiences and wellness.Our world-class team is looking for our Founding Product Designer to lead Aurora's mobile app design and web experience.This role reports directly to the CEO, and has every potential to grow into an executive position across design, product, marketing and other commercial functions.Aurora was founded in 2024 by Jonah Lowenstein (previously backed by Accel/20VC and other tier-1 investors) and Aurelius Zwick (UK Young Entrepreneur of the Year). Aurora is backed and incubated by Alex Macdonald, a serial entrepreneur and investor who recently sold a luxury lifestyle platform to a major US bank for $300m.Requirements• A product thinker - you care about why you're designing something and what impact it will have for the user• Someone who has a design process that puts the human first. You use data and research where necessary, and validate design through testing• Adaptable and willing to roll up your sleeves and work on other marketing design projects, both digital and IRL, understanding we are an early-stage company• You have an existing passion for or an interest in learning more about the worlds of conversational UI, luxury branding, AI and experiential design• You want to have true impact on people's lives by optimising their limited time on earth, super-powering their wellness, improving their relationships, and creating extraordinary and unforgettable experiences• A brilliant communicator - you can explain and rationalise the reasons for your design decisions, and can receive and give constructive feedback• Able to work independently as part of a small team and working directly with Founders / C-Suite on design projects• Fluent in designing for mobile devices and with a strong portfolio of projects showing your interaction and visual design skills• Someone who understands how digital products get built, and you have 3+ years experience shipping them• Self-assured and confident in building a deeply integrated advisory product which handles sensitive data for powerful users with extremely high expectations• Fluent in iOS and Android design and know when to reuse existing patterns versus going customBenefits• Competitive salary with progression• Meaningful options package• Holistic perks• Generous parental leave policy• We believe our best work is done together in the office, but we offer flexibility for remote work in particular circumstances• US Visa Sponsorship
