Vice President, Associate General Counsel

Authentic is seeking a Vice President, Associate General Counsel to focus on licensing for their portfolio of well-known fashion and lifestyle brands. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in complex IP licensing and be detail-oriented, adaptable, and a problem solver.

Skills

Hands-on complex IP licensing experience
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and a valid license to practice law in New York State
Experience in fashion, retail, entertainment, sports, and/or apparel industries
Detail-oriented, resourceful, adaptable, flexible, organized, discreet, and cost-conscious problem solver
Organizational and project management skills

Responsibilities

Independently drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and administering license and other agreements related to IP
Supervising other legal team members
Enabling business to achieve targets while respecting principles and laws
Implementing and overseeing corporate policies, procedures, and programs

Education

J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
