Job Description

  • Project Management: In response to campaign briefs, oversee the management and execution of production timelines, team sourcing, budgets, plans, and talent/vendor contracts.

  • Time Management: Develop and track project timelines and deadlines, ensuring that the team, external vendors, and partners are kept informed, and productions are completed on time and within budget.

  • Documentation: Maintain an organized system for administrative duties, including bids, invoicing, outreach, shoot briefs, call sheets, equipment, third-party vendor management, and archiving.

  • Supplier Coordination: Secure, vet, negotiate, and manage external talent, crew, and locations while keeping efficiency in mind

  • Budget Control: Monitor spending to ensure adherence to budget, liaise with the finance department to process invoices, ensure timely payments, and flag any financial issues.

  • Quality Control: Work closely with the copywriting team to uphold AUTO1 Group’s brand standards across all assets.

  • Communication: Act as the main point of contact between the creative production team, internal teams, and external partners while continually improving efficiency and enforcing a structured production process.

  • On-Set Presence: Oversee in-person shoots to ensure smooth execution.

  • Talent Sourcing: Collaborate with the Creative Production Team to identify high-potential external crew, talent, and other production vendors.

     

Qualifications

  • Previous Experience: 3–5 years experience in commercial video production with a focus on product or service advertising. In-house or agency experience is a big plus. A portfolio detailing your most relevant projects and your role within them is required for consideration.

  • Organizational Skills: You’re detail-obsessed, deadline-driven, and a pro at managing multiple projects without breaking a sweat.

  • Talent and Resource Management: The ability to quickly secure talent, locations, crew, equipment, and other production resources is essential. An existing contact list of trusted industry professionals within Germany as well as demonstratable knowledge of the tools used to find them is required.

  • Autonomy: You’re confident working solo but know how to take direction when needed. Able to adapt to unforeseen circumstances, and foresee when outside resources are necessary.

  • People Skills: You bring out the best in teams, build strong relationships with vendors, and keep everyone aligned while protecting the creative vision.

  • Industry Knowledge: You’re always ahead of the curve on video trends, storytelling techniques, and audience engagement strategies.

  • Language Skills: Fluency in English and German is a must; Spanish, Italian, or French is a bonus.

  • Driver's License: Class B license is required.

  • Additional Skills: Skills in shooting, photography, and editing, plus familiarity with Google Workspace, Asana, Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop are a plus.
