Automotive & Mobility Solutions Manager - - Hybrid or Remote

Already today car sharing and car pooling apps are changing the mobility ecosystem. Swiss Re has looked into these matters and subsequently built a new and innovative automotive insurance solutions to mobility players.

How? By linking our clients' needs (and our clients' clients' needs) to something we can offer. Sometimes, we already have the product sitting on the shelf ready for deployement. Other times, you will dive deep into understanding the basis of the clients' need, and draw appropriate conclusions. And then you'll need your best salesmanship.


About the Role

As the Automotive & Mobility Solutions Manager you will:


  • Market and support roll-out of our AMS portfolio of technologies, data products and services to clients in the Americas
  • Prospect and develop client engagements with Insurers, MGAs, OEM Car Makers and insurance industry partners
  • Identify and understand client needs and navigate resolutions with internal environment
  • Develop strategically relevant automotive solutions for clients and underpinned with a business case and go-to-market proposition
  • Act across the solutions in the portfolio in assembling value propositions

About the Team

Swiss Re P&C Solutions uses Swiss Re's risk expertise, strong capital base and new technology to help clients grow and improve profitability by developing innovative solutions and sharing the risk. The Automotive & Mobility Solutions team develops innovative solutions to mobility players – be it insurer, OEM, mobility provider or fleet. In this role you will be part of the dedicated sales and delivery team working closely with clients to find solutions to their mobility related insurance needs. About You


Must have:


  • 5+ years of experience in the automotive insurance industry, with Insurance Carriers, Brokers, and OEM Car Makers in the fields of telematics, etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of automotive insurance risk products, operations and distribution is critical.
  • Strong passion for creating risk-oriented telematic solutions while working with clients
  • You have a passion for sales and excellent interpersonal and communication skill

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of Spanish and/or French-Canadian language is a plus

For Armonk, NY and NY City, the estimated base salary range for this position is $143,000 to 256,000. The specific salary offered for this, or any given role will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to job location, scope of role, qualifications, complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent, experience, education, and employer budget. At Swiss Re, we take a "total compensation approach" when making compensation decisions. This means that we consider all components of compensation in their totality (such as base pay, short-and long-term incentives, and benefits offered), in setting individual compensation.
