About The Role

The Associate Project Manager (APM) plays a vital role in supporting multiple accounts and various project types within the medical communications field. The APM contributes significantly to key project management tasks, assisting the project management team in achieving daily tactical objectives. These objectives include ensuring effective project management, meticulous budget management, and strict adherence to timelines.


Under the guidance of senior team members, the APM helps manage both the financial and logistical aspects of projects, ensuring their successful execution and outcomes. While the role is primarily supportive, it demands progressively greater self-sufficiency and initiative, providing a solid foundation for career growth. This position is designed to prepare the APM for advancement to more senior roles within the organization, equipping them with the necessary skills and experience.


What You'll Do
  • Develop budgets, manage out-of-scope tasks, and perform financial reconciliation on standard budgets.
  • Update and maintain project, finance, and resource management tools.
  • Develop, track, and update project timelines.
  • Provide accurate and timely financial information.
  • Process invoicing requests.
  • Manage internal traffic and coordinate booking requests for shared solutions.
  • Oversee day-to-day project management tasks, including updating status sheets and ensuring timely responses.
  • Attend internal status calls and contribute to post-meeting minutes.
  • Participate in client status calls where appropriate and assist with documenting post-meeting minutes.
  • Attend debrief meetings, provide input, and offer constructive project feedback.


About You
  • Demonstrating a minimum of 18 months+ experience in an administrative role, preferably in a team-based, client-focused environment.
  • Experience working within a Medical Communications agency is highly advantageous.
