Job Description

Your team

The Deal Hub & Pricing team, as part of Avaloq Finance Division, delivers everything from the financial analysis and decision-making commercial related aspects to financial performance of products, projects, sale opportunities or business units.

In your Pricing Specialist role you’ll work closely with Commercial Finance specialists, Sales, Marketing, Business Management, and operations teams to develop new product offerings, pricing strategies, assess investment opportunities, and optimize resource allocation. The main purpose of the role is to contribute to the long-term growth and profitability of the company. The role includes setting the price of products and services, supporting the maintenance and alignment of the offering strategy and elaborating the pricing proposition for new business opportunities.

Belonging to the CFO’s organization, you’ll have all the instruments, financial acumen, expertise, and strategic vision to support the overall financial performance of the company.

Your tasks

  • Work closely with various cross-functional business partners to support the administration of pricing responses for new business opportunities. Including price model development, as well as maintenance and support of the offering strategy
  • Orchestrate the Go-To-Market (GTM) initiatives for new products and services, including setting the pricing strategy as well as ensuring optimal offering value proposition
  • Create and maintain the standard price lists, models and harmonized offerings (multi-lens: value-based/cost+)
  • Develop guidelines and provide support for the implementation and governance of the price model and processes
  • Support internal initiatives aiming at increased client value proposition, commercial and pricing excellence
  • Support Sales, Account and Bid Managers both in contract management and upselling review for existing Clients, according to Client project need.
  • Collect and consolidated Client KPIs for internal data analysis
  • Collaborating with various departments to provide financial insights and support
  • Supporting group-wide efficiency and revenue enhancement projects

  • Strong sense of ethics and integrity in financial management
  • University degree in either / or: Business, Economic, Information Technology, Engineering, Science

It would be a real bonus if you have

  • Previous knowledge of Avaloq and / or pricing practices is a strong advantage point
  • Previous experience in Information Technology, Consulting, Finance, Business, or Economic area
  • Proficiency in: Power BI, SAP, SQL queries, MS Office365
  • English is a must, German will constitute a plus, Italian / French is nice to have
