Security Engineer (Data Loss Prevention)

You will be part of a well-established international team in Information Security focused on Tooling and Automation, and responsible for ownership and implementation of Avaloq's global DLP solutions.

Your key tasks 

• Defining and implementing DLP rules on multiple tools and systems; including Fortinet, Trellix, Microsoft, and Boldon James.
• Operational implementation, automation, and ownership of DLP Tools 
• Assisting in systems administration and maintenance on the DLP systems and other security tools and their underlying systems; including Tenable, Splunk, Wazuh, Clam AV, AWS, Azure, and Oracle Cloud; running on Windows and Linux hosts.
• Using Infrastructure as Code and Automation tools to manage all systems (Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Scripts)
• Providing guidance to the business on DLP tools and technologies, as well as improving existing detection capabilities
• Automation of operational processes and procedures, identifying weaknesses; and proposing, planning, and deploying improvements to address and enhance the infrastructure design and overall security posture of Avaloq.

• Bachelor graduate, Master student or Post-graduate in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. 
• Experience with DLP tools and technologies.
• Knowledge of common attacks, web protocols, TCP/IP, firewalls, cryptography, and operational security tools and practices. 
• DevSecOps skills (Terraform, Github, Containers, Microservice, Serverless function, Cloud technologies).
• Experience with Windows and Linux systems management and maintenance. 
• Strong problem solving, organizational and time management skills.
• Demonstrates the ability to influence others through strong written and verbal communication, maintaining cooperative relationships at all levels of the organization, despite differing perspectives. 

It would be a real bonus if you have

• ITIL, Cloud, IT Systems, Data Scientist, network or Cyber security certifications, or similar. 
• Previous work experience in a bank, financial institution, or consulting company, preferably with a focus on Information Technology or Cyber Security
