Job Description

We're looking for an experienced Program Manager, to become part of our Solutions team and help drive RFID Digital Transformation Program for our rapidly-growing customer base on a global basis. The Program Manager will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure of large RFID Transformation journey consisting of multiple tracks that collectively achieve a larger strategic organizational goal for both customer and Avery Dennison. The Program Manager will work closely with Solution Architect, Delivery managers, Global Subject Matter experts, Senior stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure projects are aligned with program objectives, delivered on time and within budget, and provide the expected benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Planning: Define program scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria. Develop program plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation strategies. Identify and manage program risks and dependencies.

  • Program Execution: Oversee multiple project teams, coordinating their efforts to ensure seamless integration and achievement of program goals. Monitor project progress, identify and resolve issues, and ensure adherence to program plans and standards.

  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including project sponsors, senior management, and other departments. Communicate program status, progress, and risks effectively. Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure their continued support and engagement on the customer and internal side.

  • Financial Management: Develop and manage program budgets, track expenditures, and ensure cost-effectiveness. Identify and implement cost-saving measures. Forecast and report on program financials regularly.

  • Risk and Issue Management: Identify, assess, and prioritize program risks. Develop and implement mitigation strategies. Monitor and manage program issues, escalating critical issues to senior management as needed.

  • Change Management: Manage program changes effectively, ensuring they are assessed, approved, and implemented in a controlled manner. Communicate changes to stakeholders and project teams.

  • Performance Reporting: Provide regular reports on program progress, performance, and risks to senior management and stakeholders. Utilize appropriate metrics to measure and track program success.

  • Business benefit & ROI Realization: Closely work with the customer to establish the program benefits and value. Aligning  projects with strategic objectives and maximizing the return on investment (ROI) from change initiatives. 

  • Key account management: Developing and maintaining strong, trust-based relationships with key clients. Identifying and pursuing opportunities to expand business with key clients by developing and implementing account plans to achieve growth targets. Negotiating contracts and pricing with key clients. Retention of sold business . Farming the account for new opportunities/revenue. Meeting or exceeding sales targets for key accounts.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Technology, business, or a related field. MBA preferred.

  • Over all 15 + years of Project/Program Management or customer facing role (5+ years of program management experience), preferably in a complex, multi-project environment.

  • Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams effectively.

  • Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.  

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Financial acumen and budget management experience.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Prior experience of executing management consulting programs will be a plus.

  • Prior experience in managing large scale organizational digital transformation initiatives will be considered a plus.

  • Proficient in project management tools and software.

  • Certification in program management (e.g., PgMP, MSP) is a plus.

Additional Information:

  • The Program Manager may be required to travel (30-40%)

  • This role may involve working extended hours or weekends to meet program deadlines.

  • The Program Manager may be required to manage remote or virtual teams.

  • This position reports to the Commercial director or a similar executive role.
