Supply Chain Analyst

Job Description:Americas Supply Chain AnalystThe Supply Chain Analyst uses analytical skills to understand, predict and improve supply chain processes. The analyst is responsible for running and maintaining key metrics as identified by supply chain and operations leadership. The analyst runs and analyzes reports, identifies problems, and developed recommendations with the help and support of the supply chain team.Primary Responsibilities• Inventory health 5 days/month• Excess inventory (planning review and fire sale)• Blocked inventory (plant/technical work)• Sales engagement (fire sale)• Planning engagement (forecast)• Master scheduling engagement (batch lot sizing)• Broker/Sell Below cost analysis, collaboration with execution team• I&S Report (week to week comparison)• Shelf Life• Monthly process with follow up• Batch master management• Warehouse execution and follow up• OTIF 2 days/month• Weekly and monthly pull• Analysis for warehousing• Analysis for inventory / fill rates• Root cause analysis with proper follow up• Demand Metrics 5-10 hours/month• MAPE• Forecast Accuracy• Supply IDS files 4-8 hours/month• Creating IDS files per week for all assets including Fridley, Century, and Orrville MFG locations• Supply Metrics – 2-3 hours/month• Conflicts in system (Supply planning and demand planning conflicts)• Zero Weeks Supply• TRP performance• Safety Stock analysis and management 3 days/month• Bi-annual• Work with DRP to drive behavior on SS• Work with sales/product to predict forward looking/new business• Work directly with warehousing to support data and needs to store/ship• AIBM Document Management 2-3 days/month• Meeting Note taking in all AIBM steps (Demand, Supply, IR, MBR, AMLT)• Data exercises and collection for all businesses monthly• New metrics• Issues that arise in AIBM• Assignments to engage team, and drive improvements• Action Item trackingTeam assistance – data needed, OMP uploads, OMP data management.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Qualification & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Materials Management, Logistics or relevant work experience.• 5 years business experience• Experience with planning systems such as OMP, APO, SAP IBP, Kinaxis, etc.• Learns new systems readily and quickly.• Strong organizational skills• Demonstrated ability to identify process improvement opportunities and take action to deliver improvement in cost, supply and/or elimination of NVA work.• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functional areas including manufacturing, SC, procurement, customer service and finance to achieve shared goals• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Essential Skills/Knowledge:• Undergraduate in business, marketing, supply chain, communicationsOur Company:Axalta has remained at the forefront of the coatings industry by continually investing in innovative solutions.
