Associate Director, Editorial Booker, Axios Events
Axios is hiring an Associate Director, Editorial Booker to provide editorial programming for their event portfolio, playing a critical role in ensuring alignment and collaboration between the newsroom and events teams.
Skills
- Experience booking and managing live events
- Detail-oriented with strong project management skills
- Knowledge of digital and social media landscape
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary booker for Axios events at national and international events
- Identify and book newsmaking speakers for each Axios Live event
- Plan and coordinate Axios coverage and promotion of events online, on social media, and in newsletters
- Coordinate with the business team on event logistics
- Ensure events reflect editorial standards and diverse perspectives
- Identify growth opportunities for events content
- Oversee prep calls with reporters and speakers
- Assist with writing and editing assignments related to events
