We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Sr. Director, Market Success to lead and drive our market-facing initiatives, ensuring that our company stays ahead in the competitive landscape while identifying and capitalizing on new market opportunities. This role combines deep expertise in competitive intelligence, market intelligence, opportunity assessment, new market entry, and growth marketing to support the company’s long-term success and revenue growth.


You'll be a key member of the executive team, working closely with leadership across product, sales, marketing, and business development to align our strategies with market realities and opportunities. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive market success strategy that drives competitive advantage, optimizes market entry, and fuels sustainable growth.


The impact you'll have:
  • Build, lead and mentor a team of Market Success Analysts
Competitive Intelligence:
  • Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive competitive intelligence strategy, including the collection, analysis, and dissemination of competitive insights.
  • Monitor competitor activities, product offerings, pricing strategies, and market positioning to identify threats and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with product, sales, and marketing teams to translate competitive intelligence into actionable strategies that enhance our market position.
  • Regularly report on competitive trends and provide strategic recommendations to the executive team.
Market Intelligence:
  • Develop a robust market intelligence framework to gather and analyze data on industry trends, market dynamics, customer needs, and emerging technologies.
  • Identify and assess key market drivers, challenges, and opportunities to inform business strategy and product development.
  • Conduct regular market scans and research to keep the organization informed about the evolving market landscape.
  • Work closely with product management to ensure that market insights are integrated into the product roadmap and development process.
Opportunity Assessment and New Market Entry:
  • Lead the identification, assessment, and prioritization of new market opportunities, including geographic expansion, new customer segments, and adjacent markets.
  • Develop go-to-market strategies for new market entry, including market sizing, competitive landscape analysis, and entry tactics.
  • Collaborate with business development and sales teams to execute market entry plans, including partnerships, distribution strategies, and local market adaptation.
  • Evaluate the performance of new market entries and adjust strategies as needed to maximize success.


Thing you'll bring:
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in competitive intelligence, market intelligence, market strategy, or growth marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strategic Vision: Proven ability to develop and execute comprehensive market strategies that drive competitive advantage and business growth.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing senior executives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Communication: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and strategies to diverse audiences.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in an agile environment with the ability to pivot quickly based on changing market conditions.
  • Results-Driven: A track record of achieving measurable results in competitive intelligence, market entry, and growth marketing.
  • Experience with competitive and market intelligence platforms like Crayon, Klue, etc.
  • Experience with win/loss platforms like TruVoice and/or management of 3rd party partners for win/loss reporting
  • Ability to interface with all levels of the Axonify Organization
  • Consultative background is a plus
