As we look to accelerate our growth, we are seeking a hands-on leader to manage operations of the product team as a Senior Director, Product Operations, reporting to the Chief Product Officer. The goal & role of Product Ops is Force Multiplier.  You bring expertise, capabilities, centralized services & programs that enable the greater Product and UX teams to excel. You will also manage the operating cadence of the Product function including the portfolio and release planning and are the Change Management engine for the Product function.


Leading Product Operations at Axonify, you’ll work directly with product, go-to-market and engineering teams on the company’s top priorities. You’ll be responsible for building strong connections with user-facing teams (support, sales, account management, customer services, etc.), ensuring a tight product feedback loop into our product teams. This is a highly cross-functional role, and it will be a critical lever for us to deliver on our mission by aligning how our product teams work against efficient methods, thus giving product managers time back to manage the product.


The impact you'll have:
  • Drive a scalable Product Operation: setting global standards and driving automation through the product teams to enable growth at scale whilst giving Product Managers time back to manage product
  • Quantitative Insights: providing data analysis support & best practices to enable data driven Product Management. Including driving internal processes and systems to automate this & empower the Segment Product Teams
  • Tools & Best Practices: select and manage the tool stack that Product Management need to do the job, alongside the agreed best practices to enhance & standardize our craft across the org. You will also work on organizational standards & best in class onboarding for new product team members to minimize ramp time
  • Product Strategy Ops: set and drive the operating cadence of the Product Strategy function including reporting, KPI’s, exec support, portfolio planning calendar and more


What you'll bring:
  • 10+ years of experience in product operations, product management, or an operational role that worked closely with product and engineering teams
  • 5 + years of experience managing a team 
  • A strong Product background with prior Project Management experience
  • Strong senior leadership presence. This role acts as de facto “Chief of Staff” for the Chief Product Officer and will communicate & interact with the executive levels of the business.
  • Understanding the importance of outstanding user experience and how to create a product management system that leverages the best practices in User Discovery & Design.
  • Ability to dig deep into the data, analyzing user feedback and using these insights to drive product improvements
  • You are an awesome project and program manager with a track record of leading and proactively managing end-to-end execution of projects/programs
  • A can-do attitude and ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Expertise leading a large matrix team relative to the size of the overall Product Strategy group. You will also be managing multiple functions & partnering across multiple segments
  • Strong operational Product Management experience and ability to create a scalable, sustainable operating mechanism for Product that enables us to run efficiently & focus on the right outcomes
  • Ability to partner with CTO & CRO ops teams to create joined up thinking on our whole operating system
  • As this role manages across multiple functions and product leaders, you have expertise engaging, digesting, and communicating across a breadth of geographies and personalities
  • Ability to seek leading indicators of successes or failures across the group
  • Experience identifying and actively building connections with relevant subject matter experts across the company to surface insights, get them excited about what your team is building, and to pave the way for smoother future rollouts
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and are great at explaining highly technical topics to technical and non-technical audiences
