Database Engineer (Denver)

AXS is actively seeking a Database Engineer to provide quality, scalable data solutions for AXS products. The candidate will collaborate to design, develop, implement, and optimize critical databases, processes, and reports to achieve business goals.

Skills

Strong experience in a database administrator & developer role within a commercial environment, or equivalent
Proven development experience in T-SQL and PL/SQL Programming in Oracle19c environment
Database tuning experience, database integration design and implementation, and management of database projects
Strong grasp of advanced SQL writing and query tuning/optimization
Experience with cloud services like Amazon AWS or Microsoft Azure highly desirable

Responsibilities

Develop T-SQL/PL/SQL Packages, Stored Procedures, Functions, SQL statements in Oracle & SQL Server environments
Design stable, reliable, and effective databases
Build databases depicting the physical design
Create Tables, Views, Indexes, and Sequences
Maintain and enhance the performance of existing database infrastructure
Respond within an on-call rotation schedule
