The scope of this position includes both Site 1 and Site 2 Continental Morganton locations. This position is the first line support for 24/7 production floor computing environment in addition to being the secondary office support technician. The environment is extremely complex and includes approximately 40 servers running Windows and Linux, 30 printers, 300 PCs, 150 VOIP phones, network switches.
Working hours: M-F 3 pm to 11:30 pm
Core Responsibilities
Basic IT help desk support
Logging and use of IT ticketing system
Office 365(Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) support for user base
Basic network setup and troubleshooting.
Install and troubleshoot 3rd party software.
Install and repair Computer hardware, Software, and peripherals (printers, scanners, TVs, and other devices that fall under IT responsibility)
Support 24/7 Manufacturing IT environment.
Adhere to data confidentiality standards.
Adhere to security protocols and procedures.
Participate in on-call/on-duty rotation.\
Assist colleagues in projects that may or may not relate directly to IT topics.
Other Job related task set by Management.
Basic Qualifications:
Ability to work independently unsupervised.
Willingness and able to support a 24/7-day operation.
Demonstrates IT troubleshooting skills/decision making abilities.
Willingness to adhere by professional and quality standards.
Ability to adhere to and follow IT protocols and procedures set by Management.
Ability to read, understand and create IT documentation.
Willingness to learn new IT technologies.
