As the Head of Data Engineering, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and driving the development of our data infrastructure and engineering capabilities. You will lead a team of talented data engineers to deliver scalable and high-performance data solutions, ensuring that our clients have access to accurate and actionable insights.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of data engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high-quality work and the efficient delivery of data engineering solutions.
Develop and implement data engineering strategies, frameworks, and best practices that align with business objectives and technical requirements.
Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of data infrastructure, pipelines, and systems to ensure data availability, quality, and consistency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, product managers, and business stakeholders, to identify technical needs and translate them into effective data engineering solutions.
Drive innovation by exploring new technologies, tools, and methodologies to continuously improve data infrastructure and pipeline performance.
Ensure the security, privacy, and compliance of data infrastructure with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
Optimize the performance of data systems and pipelines, providing regular updates on performance metrics and progress to senior management.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
Proven experience in a leadership role within a data-driven organization
Strong knowledge of data management principles and best practices
Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing
Proficient in data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI
Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
