Job DescriptionThis BAE Systems program supports our federal customer who plays a key role in providing direct cybersecurity engineering support. This program provides systems and security engineering and integration support to specific Government-sponsored projects, pilots and prototypes. This includes solution planning and engineering, defining security requirements, target architecture, interoperability and integration, system testing, Verification and Validation, Modeling and Simulation, studies and analysis, post-deployment security validation (PDSV), and project risk management. As part of this team, you will contribute to the engineering of current and emerging cybersecurity systems, policies, and processes to enforce standards and identify vulnerabilities and capability gaps, and reduce cybersecurity risk of our customer networks.The Data Analyst will report directly to the Data Management Lead. The Data Analyst brings technical expertise to ensure the quality and accuracy of that data is understood, then process, design, and present it in ways to help people, businesses, and organizations make better decisions.Key Responsibilities:• Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports• Analyze current and future data asset constructs and contents to be able to educate others• Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality• Develop and implement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for data quality measurements, implement and document data quality compliance• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets to draw conclusions for managerial actions and strategy.• Develop approaches and processes and analyze procedures for identifying and validating enterprise Authoritative Data Sources.• Work with management to prioritize business and information needs• Locate and define new process improvement opportunitiesOther Duties:Participate in the data management team assessment, review, and refinement of data and metadata standards in alignment with customer data and data technology standards that include attribute based access control. Collaborate with team members to develop data plans and proposed solutions that will interface and enhance current Government-sponsored programs architectures. Create documentation and contribute to architectural and migration efforts for data in a Cloud environment, specifically AWS GovCloud. Support engineering and development efforts working in a SAFe Systems Engineering Life Cycle (SELC) environment.Required Education, Experience, & SkillsMust have experience in the following areas:• More than five years of experience with handling and analyzing structured and unstructured data.• Proven working experience as a Data Analyst• Knowledge of data modeling and schema design• Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, Kibana)• Strong knowledge of and experience with databases (e.g., AWS S3, AWS Redshift, AWS RDS, PostgreSQL, Elastic)• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy• Adept at writing SQL queries, report writing and presenting findings• Familiarity with DODAF artifacts, specifically OV-1, SV-1, SV-4, DIV-1, DIV-2, DIV-3• Must have an active Secret Clearance and be eligible for TS/SCI• Must be able to obtain DHS EOD.Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills• Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics and 5+ years or equivalent experience.• Proven work experience as a Data Analyst or similar role supporting the Federal Government• Familiarity and understanding of database documentation, data integration and data migration (on-premise to Cloud)• Familiarity of working with AWS GovCloud environment.• Expertise in verbal and written skills to lead discussions and documentation efforts• Experience with Business Intelligence tools (specifically with Tableau)• Experience with ERWIN Data Modeler• Familiarity with Alation and NoMagic CAMEO Systems Modeler• Experience working using Agile Methodology following SAFe• Active TS/SCI clearancePay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $126610 - $215270Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures.
