Job Description Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. Come build your career with BAE Systems.Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship.Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies. Also performs a variety of duties assisting mechanical engineers in the development of mechanical and electro-mechanical engineering designs, tests, fabrications, modifications, assemblies and components. Fabricates and assembles new or modified mechanical components or assemblies. Assists with analyzing data and recommending modifications to components or test procedure to meet desired specifications. Works from process sheets, diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools and jigs.Required Education, Experience, & Skills High School Diploma or GED and 1 year work experience or equivalent experience.Must be able to lift 20-30lbs.Good written and verbal communication skills.Must be able to follow processes and written instructionsPreferred Education, Experience, & Skills Solder ExperienceLean Manufacturing ExperiencePay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $45320 - $72490Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.Employee Benefits: At BAE Systems, we support our employees in all aspects of their life, including their health and financial well-being.
