Job Description BAE Systems Inc. has an amazing opportunity for a Project Analyst to join our team in Rome, NY! In this role, the Project Analyst will be part of a dynamic mission providing project coordination and analysis services in support of our Air Force and Department of Defense (DoD) customers.Responsibilities include:• Support project managers in performing administrative tasks across the Project Management processes of organizing, integrating, planning, managing & controlling, developing and completing projects• Track project progress to financial, schedule, technical and/or new business performance objectives• Identify and track potential project risks and discuss with project manager to determine possible outcomes and solutions• Prepare presentations such as Program Management Reviews (PMRs) to communicate project status and future plans to the customer• Review and prepare contract documents for delivery to the customer• Interface and coordinate with vendors and BAE Systems procurement analysts to purchase hardware, materials, and licenses on behalf of the customer• Interface and coordinate with finance, contracts, and admin personnel on project manager behalf, when requested• Attend meetings with the team and/or customer to identify and distribute action items• Maintain a DBIDS to facilitate access to customer sites for in-person meetingsRequired Education, Experience, & Skills• Bachelor’s Degree• 4 years of experience supporting a portfolio of projects from initiation to closeout• Previous experience balancing and delivering on deadlines• Stakeholder management and customer service experience; that includes excellent communication skills (both written & verbal)• Experience with budgeting and finance for major projects• Strong presentation and organizational skills#ASFSPreferred Education, Experience, & Skills• Defense Industry experience desired• Demonstrated understanding of various government contract types, i.e. Earned Value, T&M• Ability to break down technical concepts into business terms• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with focus on root cause identification• PMP certificationPay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $71600 - $121700Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures.
