Join us!This position is not eligible for sponsorship.Job Description:This job is responsible for performing more complex analysis and modeling to minimize loss exposure and negative impacts to the customer experience. Key responsibilities include utilizing a variety of systems such as Excel, SAS, SQL, Tableau, and other relational data bases to provide analytical support on strategies, ensure goals are met, and propose policy and procedural changes within segmentation structures to produce optimal results. Job expectations include evaluating data to assess potential fraud risk and create mitigation strategies.Additional areas of focus include performance summaries of various key performance indicators and metrics over time and against forecast, the assessment and development of tools to automate and streamline the processes and make them more effective, uncover actionable business insights to drive responses to call center performance trends, control planning to ensure consistency and performance excellence across the forecasting continuum, and engagement across the Resource Planning Team for process integration.Responsibilities:The Analytics and Model Development team relies on a variety of systems / platforms including, but not limited to, Excel, SQL, Tableau, Alteryx, PowerBI, and SAS. The candidate will work across both Analytics and Data Management spectrums to source resource planning and call performance data / metrics and compile into Executive level dashboards on a project or ad hoc basis. The candidate will leverage ETL tools to automate existing processes and drive operational excellence initiatives. The candidate will connect to existing SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata, and Hadoop databases to query reporting data for key business stakeholders.• Recommends ways to help the business achieve desired outcomes and make informed business decisions using data analysis outputs• Performs complex analysis of financial models, market data, financial data, and portfolio trends to understand product performance and improve portfolio risk, profitability, performance forecasting, and operational performance• Leads coordination of the production of product performance reports and updates for senior management• Identify process improvements and efficiencies via data analysis• Attend weekly Agile standup meetings and provide status updates as needed• Participate in collaborative reporting and design sessions with organizational stakeholders and business owners to design, build, and deliver reports and dashboards to meet business goals• Collaborate with other developers to create / maintain scalable processes and best practices• Manage multiple projects, shifting priorities as needed to produce accurate work while meeting established deadlines• Validate the integrity and quality of data required for performing analysis• Partner with Workforce Optimization, Scheduling, and Strategic teams to deliver data insights and analysis that inform critical decisions and help achieve goals.• Other duties as assignedRequired Qualifications:• 3 years of SQL Coding experience• 3 years of Tableau, PowerBI, or MicroStrategy experience• Experience with Alteryx and/or usage of more advanced analytical, visualization and data extraction tools• Experience with SSMS, Oracle, Hadoop, Teradata• Advanced Excel proficiency• Strong written and oral communication skills with broad business acumen• Ability to manage multiple projects in a complex and rapidly-changing environment• Excellent time management skills• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences and quickly elevate any risks or challenges.• Positive Attitude and willingness to learnDesired Qualifications:• Advanced analytical and quantitative skills with demonstrated ability in using data and metrics to identify root causes• Familiar with SDLC and Project management concepts and tools, such as Agile and Jira• 2 years of SAS EG / SAS Studio, R, or Python experience• Bachelor’s degree, ideally in a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, statistics, economics, business, engineering, finance, or operations researchSkills:• Business Analytics• Business Intelligence• Data Quality Management• Fraud Management• Monitoring, Surveillance, and Testing• Collaboration• Data Visualization• Oral Communications• Problem Solving• Written Communications• Analytical Thinking• Critical Thinking• Data and Trend Analysis• Innovative Thinking• ResearchShift:1st shift (United States of America)Hours Per Week:40
