Join us!Job Description:This job is responsible for influencing and driving optimal bank-wide liquidity strategies by Lines of Business (LOBs) and legal entity in business as usual (BAU) and stress scenarios. Key responsibilities include overseeing and influencing liquidity utilization across the organization and providing input into process and control designs, operational risk mitigation, issue management, automation, and other initiatives across the bank.The Senior Analyst will be a member of the GLM Banking Products team with a primary focus on liquidity reporting, analysis, and regulatory adherence with respect to Banking products. Specifically, this role will provide analysis and assessments of deposit reporting and will help drive change implementation to support liquidity reporting requirements..Responsibilities Include:• Serve as a liquidity subject matter expert with respect to deposits products and associated liquidity risks• Review, monitor and trend daily liquidity reporting for deposits, key drivers of daily business flows and associated impact on liquidity metrics• Engage with Balance Sheet Management, Lines of Business, and other key stakeholders to understand and anticipate changes in client behavior, and associated impacts to liquidity metrics• Engage with CFO Data Management and other key stakeholders to understand and anticipate changes in deposits data, as well as to improve liquidity risk reporting accuracy, process and controls• Analyze new business initiatives and products to assess their liquidity and funding risks• Interpret liquidity regulation and ensure documentation for firms compliance with regulatory requirements are up to date• Research reporting issues as they arise and escalate as appropriate• Provide input into monthly presentations for senior management, line of business stakeholders and regulators• Develop responses to regulatory examinations• Support other ad hoc projects within Liquidity Management• Measures, analyzes, monitors, and reports on the bank's spot and forecasted liquidity position, provides guidance to business units to improve liquidity position, and supports regulatory and management liquidity reporting• Oversees processes, risks, and controls and tracks and monitors issues to ensure adherence with policies, risk standards, and compliance with internal and regulatory liquidity reporting requirements• Partners with other Lines of Business (LOBs) to determine limits, guidelines, and direction, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and the bank's risk framework• Monitors liquidity risk trends relating to business activities and correlations between business drivers and liquidity usage and builds out enhanced liquidity reporting• Reviews liquidity regulations and ensures documentation required for compliance is up to date with regulatory requirements• Streamlines reporting processes and builds out analytic capabilities using emerging technology (e.g., Alteryx, Tableau, etc.)• Provides input into monthly and quarterly reporting, disclosures, and presentations for Risk Committees, Board of Directors, and enterprise and local regulatorsRequired Skills:• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field - or related work experience• 5+ years of industry experience working with financial products• Active experience liaising with stakeholders across diverse enterprise functions• Energetic and self-motivated.
