Discover your full potential - join us to advance your career while leaving a lasting legacy.Your Role:Tetra Tech Inc.'s Disaster Recovery division is currently seeking a Data Analyst to work with federal disaster recovery grant programs. This position is generally remote. The Data Analyst position will work virtually with the Data Manager, subject matter experts, and others to implement data tracking tools and reporting for federal grant management programs.The successful candidate will have extraordinary attention to minute detail and be responsible for executing and overseeing daily administrative, data entry, and reconciliation functions assigned to them under the supervision of the Data Manager. The Data Analyst will be responsible for reporting on key project metrics and summarizing data trends.Conduct quality assurance (QA)/quality control (QC) and reconciliation of the following data sets: case file records, time entry records, and subcontractor invoices, and other program data of grant-funded programs.Create project reports based off aggregated program data as required by the Data Manager and/or Project Manager.Track, review, analyze, and summarize financial data for grant-funded programs.Conduct data cleansing and metric reporting from large datasets for project management needs.Assist in developing, tracking, and evaluating program productivity reports.Reconcile federal and state grants, cost estimates, audits, and other initiatives that support disaster recovery efforts.Assist in workflow automations utilizing Microsoft SharePoint, Smartsheet, and other project management software tools.Create project reports using Microsoft PowerBI or similar software.Address end user feedback of developed reports and tools, and provide timely responses and solutions as required.Pursue continuous professional development and maintain a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness.Work in a safe manner at all times and report all health and safety incidents and concerns.Additional duties as required.Qualifications:The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in data analysis, accounting, application development, and/or business administration in addition to the following:Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science, data science, economics, or another related field.Desired technical skills: Microsoft Excel, Smartsheet, PowerBI, Python, or Microsoft SharePoint.Prior experience with federal grant data analysis preferred.Finance, accounting, data analytics, computer science, or business administrative background preferred.Office suite proficiency (Outlook, Teams, and Word) experience required.Ability to quickly learn new software systems when needed.Ability to create and maintain process automation documentation.Must have proficient verbal and written communications skills with the ability to receive and execute instructions.Ability to multi-task and manage accelerated timelines to meet strict and competing deadlines.Work attentively with minimal supervision.Workdays more than 8 hours and/or weekend attendance may be required to meet deadlines.Adaptable to work on different deliverables while maintaining composure and professionalism.Life at Tetra Tech:The perks of working at Tetra Tech include:Comprehensive and market-competitive benefits.Merit-based financial rewards.Flexibility and company-wide commitment to work/life balance.Collaborative team atmosphere that values the contributions of all employees.Learning and development opportunities for ongoing professional growth.About Tetra Tech:Tetra Tech combines the resources of a global, multibillion-dollar company with local, client-focused delivery in 550 locations around the world.
