Collectively, they are responsible for developing a consistent and coherent set of models, analytical tools, and tests for effective risk and capital measurement, management and reporting across Bank of America. GRA and EIT partner with the Lines of Business and Enterprise functions to ensure the capabilities it builds address both internal and regulatory requirements, and are responsive to the changing nature of portfolios, economic conditions, and emerging risks. In executing its activities, GRA and EIT drive innovation, process improvement and automation.Job Description:Enterprise Independent Testing (EIT) Employee Quality Review (EQR) team centralizes end-to-end testing, process ownership, and subject matter expertise for unique, employee-based testing across all Lines of Business. EIT has established itself as the enterprise utility to test all end-to-end processes on behalf of Second Line of Defense, Frontline Units (FLUs) and Control Functions (CFs), enabling more efficient and effective testing. EIT is transforming the way testing is built and executed with digital transformation, implementing automation, and leveraging cutting edge Artificial Intelligence/Natural Language Processing technologies. EIT carries a portfolio of 8,000+ tests and has a global footprint of testing professionals across the United States, Europe, Asia and Latin America as well as Global Business Services (GBS) associates.The Testing Team Manager is accountable for the EQR testing portfolio and oversees the Quality Assurance process. This role entails managing a team of U.S. and non-U.S. based associates responsible for developing and executing capabilities used to provide timely, useful, and actionable independent insight on the operational health of Bank of America’s processes. The team is essential to the Bank achieving its commitment to process excellence, and this role provides a unique opportunity to shape how the Bank manages its operational risk.This role requires partnering effectively with Global Compliance Operational Risk (GCOR), as well as various teams within GRA/EIT who provide operational, data sourcing, and technology infrastructure support. The outputs of the methodologies will be used to drive process improvements and timely detection of errors.The EQR Testing Manager provides data testing oversight, resource management, and escalation/resolution of test execution issues, as needed, to ensure timely, complete, and seamless execution of tests.The role requires critical thinking and willingness to dig into the details of both existing and new methodologies to ensure they are fit for purpose. The candidate must be a strong communicator and able to effectively explain the rationale and details of the methodologies to a broad set of audiences that include key senior stakeholders across the Bank, as well as auditors and regulators.As a Testing Team Manager, responsibilities include but not limited to:• Lead a team of 10 plus employees who support various control functions• Working knowledge or background in QA/QC function(s) to support Test Execution QA, Sample & Test Development QA, and Sample & Test Development QC.• Adept at detecting and remediating organizational / process weaknesses and deficiencies• Provide strategic and tactical solutions for process improvement• Strong critical thinking skills with creative problem-solving skills• Interact extensively with Testing Team Managers/Executives, Chief Testing Officer, EIT Centralized QA partners to identify, research, analyze and resolve complex problems.• Translate business strategy into work programs and processes.
