Surgery Supply Inventory Coordinator, Galloway Endoscopy Center, FT, 7:30A-4P

Description:This position is responsible for supporting the efficiency of the centers clinical services by ensuring the adequate and timely availability of technical equipment, instruments, supplies, and inventory. This position assists and coordinates repairs of surgery equipt/instruments, coordinates loaners while repairs are in progress to prevent disruption of clinical services. This position coordinates and the Life Safety and the Environment of Care program, including implementation of those programs with oversight from safety and facilities managers, to ensure the safety of the physical environment for employees, patients, and visitors and to ensure facility wide regulatory compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Coordinates activities and initiatives with site leadership to provide a secure environment for the protection of employees, visitors, and patient. May act as a disaster coordinator and coordinate drills and their respective critiques. Coordinates supply inventory activities as needed for newly acquired facilities and assists with the implementation of processes needed to successfully integrate within the organization. Assists standardization of supply usage whenever possible across at the centers and assists with putting data together for case costing of procedures.Estimated pay range for this position is $21.56 - $28.03 / hour depending on experience.Qualifications:Degrees:High School,Cert,GED,Trn,ExperAdditional Qualifications:Associates Degree preferred. Strong communication, facilitation, consultation, analytical, written/verbal and organizational skills; ability to prioritize with attention to details; systems thinking, knowledge and skills in the evaluation of outcomes. Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Desired: Knowledge of The Joint Commission (TJC), Accreditation Association of Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC), and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Standards.
