Are you driven by achieving targets and energize working in a high-paced sales environment? Barracuda is looking for a Lead Development Representative to fuel our new sales team by delivering high-quality leads and driving growth in our SME and Midmarket sectors. In this role, you'll engage with prospective customers to build Barracuda’s customer base through strategic outreach and qualifying inbound leads from various channels, including marketing campaigns, web inquiries, and events.
What you’ll be working on:
- Rapidly respond to inbound leads generated by marketing campaigns, website inquiries, and events.
- Make high volumes of outbound calls to connect with potential customers, with a goal of 70-90 calls per day.
- Qualify leads by understanding their needs and determining fit within our product offerings.
- Conduct thorough research on leads using tools such as ZoomInfo, Salesforce, and other online resources.
- Maintain detailed records of lead interactions and progress in Salesforce.
- Collaborate with Account Executives to set up qualified appointments.
- Consistently achieve or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly lead and call targets.
What you bring to the role:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience accepted.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High energy and a positive attitude.
- Ability to handle high call volumes with ease.
- Understanding of security and storage solutions is a plus.
- Previous experience in telemarketing or sales with exposure to metrics is beneficial.
- Familiarity with Salesforce.com and shared Outlook calendars is advantageous.
- Self-starter with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
- Adaptability in a fast-moving, dynamic environment.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience is preferred but not required.
