Bastian Solutions, a Toyota Automated Logistics company, is looking for a dynamic People Operations Manager to join our growing team. The People Operations Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day HR operations for Bastian Solutions by leading a team of Generalist and HR Business Partners. The People Operations Manager will work as a strategic business partner to the organization by providing HR expertise and partnership to business leaders and collaborate at all levels to drive the development and implementation of HR strategies. This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated HR leader who wants to influence the development of HR programs and practices at a fast-growing Toyota Industries company.This is a hybrid role that will be on-site 4 days per week with the ability to work from home 1 day per week.Job Functions• Lead the day-to-day human resources functions and ensure that foundational support is being provided to leaders and employees.• Responsible for leading the People Operations team to implement talent management and development, workforce planning, employee experience, DEI, benefits and compensation programs and strategies.• Collaborate with business leaders to drive the development and implementation of HR strategies to support the organization’s goals and strategic initiatives.• Partner with other internal HR functions to develop, design, and implement cross-functional initiatives in the areas of talent acquisition, EH&S, and Learning & Development.• Oversee the employee relations process and conduct thorough investigations to address employee concerns or complaints.• Support leaders with performance management concerns and assist in progressive discipline and Performance Improvement Plan processes.• Project manage multiple HR projects in areas such as process improvement, career development, compensation, employee experience, and onboarding.• Recommend and champion new initiatives to improve the employee experience.• Partner with L&D to drive the performance management process including reinforcement of annual goal setting process, annual performance review process and quarterly touchpoints. Guide, support and train employees and managers through the entire process.• Participate in the strategy, design, implementation, and management of internal compensation programs.• Assist team in managing compensation programs including variable compensation plans and annual merit.• Create and update policies and procedures, as necessary.• Support and assist in execution of talent retention initiatives through progressive HR practices, leveraging key metrics and internal/external analysis.• Partner with local and remote peers including HR leaders in the US and other Toyota HR leaders to work collaboratively, share best practices and drive consistency in programs, practices, and communications where appropriate.• Partner with marketing to develop effective and thorough internal communication strategies.• Any and all other duties as assigned.Travel Requirements• 10% travel to visit Bastian Solutions offices and sites.Preferred Skills & Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree required.• 10+ years of experience communicating and implementing HR programs, policies, best practices, and processes.• 5+ years of HR leadership experience• HR generalist work experience in a corporate setting with a process improvement mindset• Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills to establish trust, credibility, and rapport at all levels of the organization; seen as humble, direct, and authentic while possessing executive presence.• Proven ability to be hands-on and demonstrate resourcefulness, initiative, results orientation with a learning mindset for continuous improvement.• Effective communication skills and function as a change agent to the business and implement processes and approaches which prepare leaders for ongoing change and transformation.• Collaborative approach in working with others in a diverse, inclusive organization.• Strong business acumen.• Proficient with MS Programs, such as Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Word, and Outlook.To learn more about us, click here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_wJsktTkF50About Bastian SolutionsBastian Solutions, a Toyota Advanced Logistics company, is an independent material handling and robotics system integrator providing automated solutions for distribution, manufacturing, and order fulfillment centers around the world.
