Do you want to use your Clinical Product Focused Software Analyst skills to make a difference in the world of Cardiology? Bardy Diagnostics is an exciting, fast growing organization within Baxter with unique and compelling products looking for the right Associate Clinical Software Analyst to help us achieve our mission.
The desired candidate will be energized by the unique challenges and opportunities of a fast-growing medical device organization, by exciting sophisticated technical problems, and have a strong desire for continuous improvement and design excellence.
You will be responsible for contributing to and driving the definition of software-centric projects of medium to high complexity and size. This role requires the ability to work with stakeholders to analyze user needs, extract requirements, and translate into technical specifications for development. The role will work with the internal clinical team and the software development team to formulate solutions ensuring ease-of-use, efficiency, scalability, and performance. To succeed in this role the candidate should have a natural analytical way of thinking, strong ECG clinical background, and be able to explain difficult concepts to both technical and non-technical team members.
Working with software development, ensures that needs of clinical customers, internal clinical staff, and R&D are analyzed and clearly specified
Collaborates with Project Leads and key stakeholders to define and document project scope and vision
Analyzes and verifies requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards
Translates conceptual customer requirements into functional requirements/technical specifications in a concise manner that is comprehensible to developers/project team
Creates process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers and/or the project team
Develop and conduct peer reviews to ensure that requirement specifications are correctly interpreted
Helps develop and execute Usability studies and Validation protocols
Drives triage of issues identified during Verification & Validation as well as those raised from the clinical team
Guides technical team toward appropriate solutions to user needs
Actively participates in product V&V to ensure features and functions have been enabled/optimized
Supports the technical team with preparation of documents for regulatory compliance
Writes user manual and release notes for the clinical team
Works with the clinical training team to develop training curriculum on new features
Develops in depth technical understanding of the product software
ECG technician certification and work experience in an ECG clinical team
Able to exercise independent judgment and act upon it
Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills
Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail
Very organized and highly self-motivated
Ability to effectively prioritize and complete tasks while under pressure
Strong customer service orientation
Enjoys working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Healthcare and/or medical device experience is preferred
We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $64,000 - $96,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
