Senior Project Manager - Global Logistics and Distribution

Job Description Summary Reporting to the Vice President of Global Logistics and Distribution, this role will be responsible for supporting the VP in driving transformation and change management initiatives across BD’s global logistics operations. The Senior Project Manager will play a critical role in managing and overseeing complex logistics and distribution projects across multiple regions. The primary responsibilities will include developing project plans, coordinating resources, and ensuring the successful execution of projects within established timelines and budgets. The role will also collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, supply chain planning, regional supply chain operations and BD Excellence, to identify and implement projects to improve process and drive operational excellence. Responsibilities: • Plan, execute, and monitor global projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of outcomes. • Support project leader to drive transformation and manage change. • Coordinate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, partners, and authorities. • Manage project risks, issues, and changes, and implement mitigation and contingency plans. • Prepare and present project reports, dashboards, and documentation, and provide recommendations for improvement and optimization. • Tolerance for ambiguity and the ability to solve complex problems. • Strong analytical skills and demonstrated financial acumen, cost reporting, and business case development. Minimum Requirements: • Minimum six years relevant and recent hands-on experience managing project at global scale. • BA Degree • Extensive experience in project management. • Deep understanding of global supply chain operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
