The full Pay Range is $78,400.00 - $145,800.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.BENEFITSEmployees and their eligible family members have access to a wide array of employee benefits, such as medical, dental, vision and life insurance coverage. Employees have access to disability and AD&D insurance. We also offer health care and dependent care flexible spending accounts, as well as health savings accounts, to eligible employees. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan and employer-funded retirement plan. Newly hired employees accrue 6.16 hours of paid time off (PTO) on a per pay period basis based on hours worked (up to a maximum of 160 PTO hours per year) and receive ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. You’ll be the go-to expert for financial planning, budgeting, and reporting, providing essential support that drives our organization’s growth and success. Your work will directly impact BECU’s ability to navigate market changes and capitalize on opportunities, making you a key player in our journey towards excellence.WHAT YOU’LL DO:• Be the Financial Navigator: Serve as the main contact for financial planning and reporting needs, offering your expertise and guidance to various departments within the Credit Union.• Shape Financial Strategies: Provide detailed analytical support for the creation of BECU’s annual financial plan and periodic forecasts, ensuring our financial strategies are robust and forward-thinking.• Monitor and Report: Prepare monthly variance reports, comparing current results with planned and past performance, helping us stay on track and make necessary adjustments.• Consult and Collaborate: Offer consulting services to Finance Business Partners and focus groups, sharing your knowledge to enhance financial decision-making across the organization.• Engage in Cross-Functional Projects: Participate in diverse projects across different divisions, using your financial acumen to contribute to broader organizational goals.• Identify Improvement Opportunities: Conduct interpretive analyses to uncover cost-saving opportunities, helping BECU optimize its resources.• Ensure Financial Alignment: Continuously assess BECU’s financial standing in relation to our plans and long-term forecasts, adapting strategies as needed to stay aligned with our goals.• Educate and Empower: Lead budget education initiatives, equipping other departments with the knowledge they need to effectively manage their financial responsibilities.• Stay Current: Maintain an up-to-date understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and related regulations, ensuring compliance and accuracy in our financial practices.• Prepare Key Reports: Assist in the preparation of financial documents for Executive Management and the Board of Directors, providing clear and insightful financial analysis.• Leverage Advanced Systems: Utilize the PeopleSoft accounting system and Hyperion budget system to streamline financial processes and reporting.• Support Ad-Hoc Projects: Conduct special analyses and forecasts as needed, providing timely and relevant financial insights to support decision-making.• Foster Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with all BECU employees, promoting a cohesive and informed approach to achieving our collective goals.This isn’t just about ticking off tasks on a list.
