Position OverviewAs the Vice President of Product Innovation and Marketing Insights, you will have the opportunity to research, develop, and implement groundbreaking new and innovative coatings products, tools, and services that may not exist in the market.Your role will be crucial in formulating and integrating strategies for the development of new products, processes, tools, and potential materials, with the goal of revolutionizing our paint coatings, applicators, and adjacency business.At Behr, we value collaboration and diversity. As the Vice President of Product Innovation and Marketing Insights, you will play a crucial role in driving innovation throughout our organization.You will have the chance to lead and inspire teams, while working closely with various teams to maintain our brand integrity and ensure the practicality of innovative solutions.You will draw upon your vast knowledge of the DIY and Pro markets in order to shape inventive strategies and processes. Your primary objective will be to drive growth by devising and implementing strategies that establish a lasting competitive edge.This involves addressing essential factors such as cost efficiency, product performance, the use of innovative materials, and optimization of processes.Responsibilities :• Research, develop, and implement groundbreaking new and innovative coatings products, tools, and services• Formulate and integrate strategies for the development of new products, processes, tools, and potential materials• Lead and grow a team of professionals with non-traditional thinking and innovative ideas• Inspire innovation across the organization, ensuring alignment with our vision and global strategy• Lead the creation of innovative solutions to gain long-term competitive advantages• Collaborate closely with relevant team members to ensure brand integrity and technical feasibility• Apply extensive knowledge of DIY and Pro environments to develop innovative strategies• Drive growth by crafting and implementing strategies for a long-term competitive edge• Manage innovative and AI strategies and tactics, ensuring effective coordination and protection of Intellectual Property rightsRequirements :• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required; MBA preferred• 10 years of demonstrated experience in product management or a similar domain in the paint / coatings industry, home improvement industry or consumer packaged goods• Exceptional leadership and team management skills• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement innovative strategies• Excellent communication and collaboration skills• Ability to drive growth and establish competitive advantagesOther Requirements :Travel up to 10% (including overnight travel) required periodicallyWhat We OfferAt the BEHR Paint Company, we deliver possibilities that improve you professionally so you can thrive personally.
