Associate Data Engineer

Benson Hill is seeking an Associate Data Engineer to join our Product & Platform Acceleration team. The role involves designing and implementing software features for R&D applications.

Skills

Proficiency in Python, Typescript/JavaScript, and AWS
Experience with web frameworks like Next.js and API frameworks like FastAPI
Relational database experience
Knowledge of OOP and software design principles
Experience with CICD and cloud platforms like AWS
Ability to work independently and in Agile environments

Responsibilities

Design, build and maintain efficient applications using Python, Typescript/JavaScript, and AWS
Translate user requirements into technical designs
Work on data gathering and integration of structured and unstructured data sets
Improve and maintain code quality through unit tests and automation
Contribute ideas for technology and product improvements

Education

Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, or related field
