As an Electro-Mechanical Technician at Berry Global in Griffin, you'll be stepping into a pivotal role that keeps our production equipment running smoothly. With your general repair skills and knack for troubleshooting, you'll work alongside dedicated maintenance, process, and production teams to solve various equipment and production issues. A big part of your job will involve documenting maintenance work orders and reports, ensuring everything is meticulously tracked and accessible. You'll utilize your fundamental understanding of ladder logic and various electrical schematics to support your tasks, including using tools like DMMs and electrical meters. Your experience with AC and DC motors, PLCs, and other electronic components will be critical as you identify and address issues across our automated equipment, including HVAC and process chilled water systems. We value safety highly, so you'll need to adhere to our policies while promoting a secure working environment. We're looking for someone with a minimum of 4,160 hours of experience as a maintenance electro/mechanical technician or equivalent training.
