Lead, Group Practice Acquisition

Berry Street is a business-in-a-box platform enabling registered dietitians to start and scale private practices that accept health insurance. We provide all of the software needed to run a best-in-class practice + back-office services like insurance contracting, eligibility verification, customer support, claims billing, and even patient acquisition. Berry Street partners with both group practice owners and solo practitioners to build thriving practices.

We are seeking a skilled sales leader to grow our mission-critical SMB group practice business line. While tied to our core business, our group practice offering is standalone in many ways and requires different GTM motions and a more nuanced strategy.

As the Lead, Group Practice Acquisition, you’ll identify, engage, and convert multi-provider practices into long-term customers. You’ll own the full sales cycle—from outbound prospecting to closing deals—while helping shape our go-to-market strategy in this fast-growing segment. Your role will have a significant impact on Berry Street’s growth and success.

  • Hunt and close: Prospect and close new business with group practices (2+ providers)  by building relationships with practice owners and other relevant stakeholders
  • Own the sales cycle: From discovery and demos to negotiations and onboarding handoff, you’ll manage the full sales process.
  • Tailor the pitch: Collaborate with prospects to deeply understand their operational pain points and position our platform as the answer.
  • Hit the ground running: Leverage existing leads, but also build your own pipeline through outbound strategies.
  • Partner across teams: Work closely with operations, product, and other teams to share insights and enable cross-functional success
  • Learn and grow: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement in sales execution
  • Celebrate results: Establish and monitor KPIs to track and improve performance
  • Exceed targets: Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals while helping expand our footprint in a key vertical.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or growth roles, ideally in a high-growth, fast-paced, self-directed startup healthcare environment
  • Track record of success in outbound sales to small business owners
  • Comfortable building presentations and sales collateral
  • Strong analytical and spreadsheet skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and love of owning of problems end-to-end
  • Strong sense of accountability and ownership of your work
