Best Egg is seeking a Data Science Co-op who is eager to contribute to loan application analytics help identity friction in the application funnel and improve conversion rate. This role will report to the Data & Science Advanced Analytics Department

• Improve funnel conversion by partnering with Marketing, Credit/Fraud on better designing application and verification process leveraging test and learn data.
• Assist in developing and maintaining reporting and monitoring around funnel performance metrics leveraging SQL, excel or reporting tools such as PowerBI
• Automate reporting utilizing Python and MetaFlow
• Conduct A/B experimental testing impact analysis and make business recommendations.
• Perform analysis, summarize findings, and present results to internal clients. 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Operational Research, Engineering, Data Science or other quantitative major required
• A graduate student is required.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Intermediate to advanced experience with MS Excel and SQL server.
• Experience with one or more large data mining and analytical tools: Python, R, or SAS is preferred
• Experience with BI and digital reporting tools such as Power BI, and Adobe Analytics is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively independently and as a team member.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
